Declan McCambridge – Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
I’m Declan from Los Angeles and I’ve grown up with dogs for all 25 years of my life. I love golden retrievers, bulldogs, huskies, German shepherds, shitzu, basically all dogs haha.
I’ve worked for two other dog walking/training/boarding companies and I enjoyed it very much. I love animals, the Los Angeles Lakers, and music!
Nelson Anido – Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
I’m Nelson and I have long history with family pets. Our family dog when I was a child was not treated well and I have endeavored since then to treat all pets I encounter with the respect and love they deserve. I have friends that have entrusted me with their Poodle/Terrier mix dog named Muppet when they traveled abroad. I currently live with my roommate’s American Shorthair black cat T’Challa so I have experience with cats. My current favorite dog breed is Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I also love Pit Bulls and Bulldogs.
Julia Bergdoll – Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Hi! My name’s Julia. I’m originally from the Boston area and have grown up around dogs my entire life. My mom owns a doggy daycare, so I’ve spent years walking dogs on one-on-one neighborhood walks, leading group hikes in the woods, and working as a daycare attendant supervising group play. I also walked dogs through the Rover app throughout college and during the pandemic. I’ve had dogs of my own since I was five, including my current dog, Gracie, who I adopted during my junior year of college (she’s seven now!). My dog is my entire heart and soul so I understand the importance of hiring a dog sitter you can trust. I love dogs of all breeds and personalities, and have extensive experience with feeding and administering medication, reading canine body language, and caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. I can’t wait to meet your pups.
Taninna Oukacine – Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Hey I’m Taninna and I absolutely love dogs and all kinds of animals! I’ve always been such an animal lover. I’ve had the pleasure in being various dog walker and dog sitter for a lot of my neighbors, friends, family and colleagues. All dog breeds I’ve had such a love for but some of my favorites have been cocker spaniels, corgis, golden retrievers, French bulldogs and especially pugs. Oh my god I am obsessed with pugs and they genuinely bring me tears of joy every time I see them. I love comedy and love to make people laugh and spread happiness and joy! I’m an actor, singer, comedian and I love to travel, explore the world and learn languages. I’m definitely a very optimistic and overall passionate person.
Coralynn Figueroa – Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
My name is Coralynn Figueroa. I’ve been an animal lover since I was a little girl. Though I have grown up with cats, I have had an interest in just learning about every animal. In the case of dogs, I would read on their breeds, their personalities, the quirks of owning a dog and the benefits of being loved by one. After research and the physical experience of being a dog walker in Manhattan NY for three years, I love everything about dogs. My favorite breeds are huskies and shepherds. Specifically German & Australians. On my own time, I love working with children, making an impact on lives in genuine ways and connecting to myself through watching anime, reading my favorite books or dancing to all my favorite songs. I’m a free spirited, open minded person looking to spread much needed love and fun in anyway the world requires.
Sophia (Asher) Torres – Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Hiii! I’m Sophia Torres. I usually go by Asher! I’m 18, just graduated this year!! 2025. I have lots of experience with dogs! I’ve had them my whole life! Currently, I have two dogs and six cats! I’ve volunteered at a pet shelter in Westchester called the Lovejoy Foundation. I got my two current dogs from that shelter, and I volunteered to walk and play with the dogs and make them feel loved!! I love small dogs because I think they’re so cute and cuddly!! I can’t wait to walk more dogs and get my steps in!!
Shadira – Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Hi, I’m Shadira, a lifelong animal lover with a special soft spot for dogs. I’m the kind of person who will always pull over for a stray! As a proud French Bulldog owner, I have plenty of experience with their unique needs and personalities, but I’m comfortable caring for all breeds and sizes, from tiny lap dogs to big, playful pups (thanks to my siblings’ dogs!).
Though I work full time, spending time with animals is truly my source of happiness and calm, my daily dose of serotonin and oxytocin. Whether it’s walking, playing, or just giving some extra love and attention, your furry family member will always be in kind, caring hands with me.
OUR TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
At Pawcific Dog Academy, we believe that positive reinforcement creates confident, eager learners. Our philosophy centers on rewarding desired behaviors rather than punishing unwanted ones. This approach builds trust, strengthens your bond with your dog, and creates lasting behavioral change.
We recognize that behavior issues often stem from confusion, fear, or lack of proper guidance rather than defiance. Our role is to be your dog’s teacher and advocate, helping them understand what you want while building their confidence. Through clear communication, consistency, and patience, we help dogs succeed.
Every dog deserves training that respects their individual personality and learning pace. We adapt our methods to suit each dog’s needs, whether they’re a sensitive soul who needs extra encouragement or an energetic pup who thrives on challenge. Our goal isn’t just obedience, it’s creating well-adjusted, happy dogs who are a joy to live with.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does dog training take? Training duration varies based on your goals and your dog’s starting point. Basic obedience typically shows significant progress within 4-6 weeks of consistent training. More complex behavior issues may require several months. During your initial consultation, we’ll provide a realistic timeline for your specific situation.
What age should I start training my puppy? The earlier, the better! Puppies can begin learning as early as 8 weeks old. Our Puppy Classes are designed for dogs aged 8 weeks to 6 months and focus on socialization, basic commands, and preventing common puppy problems.
Do you use treats in training? Yes, positive reinforcement is a cornerstone of our approach. We use treats, praise, toys, and other rewards to motivate learning. As training progresses, we gradually reduce food rewards and transition to verbal praise and life rewards.
Can you help with aggressive dogs? Absolutely. We have experience working with aggression and reactivity. These cases require private sessions where we can carefully assess your dog’s triggers and develop a customized behavior modification plan. Safety is our top priority in these situations.
What’s the difference between private lessons and group classes? Private sessions offer one-on-one attention tailored to your specific needs and are ideal for behavior problems, busy schedules, or dogs who need individualized focus. Group classes provide socialization opportunities and are excellent for basic obedience training in a distracting environment. Many clients benefit from a combination of both.
Do you offer training for older dogs? Yes! The saying “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” is a myth. Dogs of any age can learn. While puppies may learn faster, adult and senior dogs absolutely can master new skills and overcome behavior issues.
What training methods do you use? We use science-based positive reinforcement training techniques. We focus on rewarding desired behaviors, managing the environment to set dogs up for success, and building clear communication between you and your dog. We do not use shock collars, prong collars, or intimidation-based methods.
